AG New Releases!

Sorry this post is so late. I didn't have much time to post this on the day it came out. So here it is now! Pics Cred: Living A Doll's Life Also, I'll be putting my two-bits on the items. (I feel a rant coming on)

Okay, don't get me wrong. I love this carriage and horse. I am asking for it on my Christmas wish list. But $275 for just the carriage and an extra $98 dollars for the horse? Unreal!

I love this horse! But the price, not so much.

Okay. One word: OVERPRICED! But cute.

 $44 for a jewelry box with no actual jewelry?? No way is that coming home with me. Such a rip-off!

Okay. American Girl's new release has finally made me (sort-of) happy. This outfit looks like it was made for my dolls! I could live with spending $36 for this AWESOME outfit!

So. Elegant.

I like this dress a lot. But the Happy Holiday Dress (the blue one) stole my heart. (and the show!)

Okay. American Girl has once again disappointed me. $32 dollars for accessories I could make? Sorry, this is just another rip-off.

One word: CUTE, CUTE, CUTE! But I'm still not spending $32 dollars for a jacket, candy, a bracelet and fake perfume.

So, my thoughts on the new release?

That blue dress is the bomb!

AG Fan Meet-Up Day 2014

Well, sorry this is late but I met some really awesome AG fans that I had actually never known liked AG! I had never liked this girl, but we bonded over dolls. That just proves that dolls are for everyone. Hope you had a great day!


PS: I'm going to have a new signature. My real name means Dawn in Sanskrit and since my mom's name is Dawn, I'm going to be DJ sometimes when I'm feeling lazy since it's quicker to write. Don't be confuzzled, it's still me.

I'm Back!

Hey everyone! I'm back! I'm hoping to work on a new Sarah Sockett episode soon, but first this really awesome story caught my attention. It's called the Seven Chairs and it's part of the mysterious Harris Burdick collection. I'm sure if you look him up you'll find the story pretty quickly. Anyway, since they never found the stories (they only found the illustrations) many famous authors tried to come up with their own ideas of how the story went. Lois Lowry (Author The Giver, Number The Stars and many other awesome books) wrote the Seven Chairs. Hope you like the stop motion when it comes out!

Camp Jewell!

Oh no…. So for a sort of get to know each other activity, my grade is going on a three day/two night long field trip. Last time we did this sort of thing was in 5th grade and I had known everyone for at least 6 years. I'm kind of worried that I'll have to share a bunk with idiots (they're assigned :/ ugh) and with my luck, I'll have to share a bunk with the two Issy/Izzys and this annoying goody two shoes goth named Emma. Well, whatever. I'll just have to live with it. The worst part is I can't even blog! I don't know how I will survive this. Plus, my favorite uncle is coming over and I'll only have one evening to spend with him. Oh well. At least it's only for two days.

PS: On the bright side; it's outdoors. It'll be a little time to get away from the human race.

A New Nickname For Isabelle

Hey! Sorry for two posts in one day. (The other post is more important. Please check it out! It's about a meet-up that I know you all can make!) Well, this is sort of personal and sort of not.

Anyway here's the story/rant!


It was two weeks ago when I accidentally wore something borderline out of dress code (let me say that private school is not cool!) Two stupid girls named Isabelle said that I was not in dress code when they were clearly out of dress code. That seriously ticked me off. So, since one of them was named Issy (Isabelle's old nickname) and the other was Izzy, I think Isabelle need a new nickname. So I was thinking that you get to pick!

It can be:

~Belle
~Bella
~And as you can tell I need more ideas! Comment, comment, comment!

AG Fan Meet-Up 2014

Hey everyone! Loren from Happy House Of AG had this really great idea of having a meet-up!

All the details are here. But here's a brief summary (copied from Loren's blog):

It wouldn’t be at an AG store or anything like that. It would just be something where you could meet other AG fans in your area.

It’ll be on October 9th, all day. Just wear a blue shirt and your hair in a bubble braid. So, on October 9th, if you see a girl wearing a blue shirt and a bubble braid, don’t be afraid to say hi! She may very well be an AG fan.

Please post about this on your blog! I would absolutely love to meet each and every one of you. If you plan on attending, please tell me! I’d love to know. Also, put the AG Fan Meet-up 2014 button on your blog’s sidebar.
