I don't have any doll with a Josefina face mold (Grace) and I already have 2 dolls with the classic face mold. (Samantha)
I love Grace, but I love Sam too!

DeleteHave fun at the AGP Boston! :D I agree with AGDTime--Samantha is beautiful, but Grace is guaranteed to retire at the end of this year, whereas Samantha has just returned and should be around for many more years to come ;) Maybe you could ask for whichever doll you didn't get on this trip for Christmas, too ;)

DeleteI have both and I recommend both! Samantha's hair is a dark brown with wavy/curly hair, while Grace's hair has different colored brown highlights. Have fun picking out your doll! Also, I'd love it if you could check out my blog http://www.americangirlaj.weebly.com! Thanks!

DeleteUgh idk. Usually I go to an AGPlace determined to buy one doll, and then a completely different one sweeps me off my feet! I say just go with the one that appeals to you the most on-site - even if it's not one of those two!
ReplyDelete(However, if push comes to shove, I would say Grace. I don't have her, but her highlights look very gorgeous. Plus, Shelby is right - Grace will retire at the end of the year (and given her current popularity she might sell out before!), whereas Samantha'll be available for a while. Plus, I have a Mattel Samantha, and I can definitely say that her bangs flop down in front of her eyes a lot. Idk if it's different with the BF Sams though.)
