Something Big...

Sorry again for the long wait everyone! With swimming, tennis and school, I had barely anytime to post. But now that the swim season is almost over and school's been out for a while, I'm back to blogging!

So without further ado, something big happened at AG For Everyone!

I Promise

I know not many of you will be reading this, but I'm doing this anyway.
Now's a good time as ever.
I'm really not ready to say this.


First off, I did not get Rebecca.

That's right. I didn't.

I didn't because I didn't like her.

I want Elizabeth, and I don't think it's right to get another doll just for the heck of it.

So no, I didn't get Rebecca.

Second, I did not take any pictures @ AGP Boston.

I do not want to be dishonest with you, there is only one reason for this.

I was the only one in the entire store and all the staff was looking at me and my parents. It was really awkward.

So no, I didn't take any pictures.

Third, I am really sorry.

Really, really sorry.

I promised to take pictures and get a new doll, but I didn't.

I'm sorry. I really am.

I'm not going to be called Dollympics547. It just isn't me anymore.

I'm going to Dawn, from Dollywood Studios on Youtube.

That's right. I got a YouTube.

And I have some videos up.

And I didn't tell you.

Again, I am really, really sorry.

I'm going to take a break.

And start anew. The way a phoenix rises up from the fire.

Here is a poem (by me) for you.

Start again. Be renewed.

Put the pieces together again, only glued.

We all are pieces in our own game,

We want money, fortune and fame.

Now take a breath and let it go,

What needs to be done, now you know. 

I still love my dolls. But something tells me they want a break from the spotlight.

So I will be taking a break from blogging.

I don't know for how long.

I just know I'll be back.

28 Followers?!

28 followers?! Wow.... just wow! I cannot thank you all enough.

I had wanted to start a blog as soon as I read Liz's blog American Girl Fan. I couldn't figure out how to get a blog, so I got an Instagram instead. (@dollympics547) I then tried to get a blog with Weebly.com, but they charged money and my parents only let me get a blog that was free to run. That's when I found Blogger.

I have gone through at least 6 layout changes, received 2 new dolls, and this blog is still the same old AG For Everyone. I want to thank you all so very much.

My first real post (besides Hi! Welcome To My Blog! and 2nd Post!) was a hairstyle getting ready for Spring. So, as a throwback, here is Sweet Spring Hairstyle, down below. You can see how much my photography has improved!! When I look at this post, it makes me want to cry, because this blog is almost 1 whole year old. 1 whole amazing year! Below is the original post:

What better way to welcome Spring then with an adorable hairstyle? Here is a hairstyle that will get any doll ready for Spring.

Make two braids on one side of your doll's head, so it looks like the picture above.

Do the same on the other side of your dolls head.

Pull braids to back of head and tie off.

Do the same on the other side.

Untie braids (under scrunchie) so that it looks like this.

Now your doll is ready to have some outdoor fun!

Incentive and What I Got With The $50 Gift Card

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say how excited I am that I was able to get two awesome AG sets with the gift card I got.

I selected the fancy earrings for Saige ($10) since she's the only one with her ears pierced

And the violin set! ($34) I am super excited about this set! I will be making a stop-motion series called "The Philharmonic Orchestra." It'll be about auditioning for an orchestra and all the gossip that goes on while in the orchestra. I might even add some of the songs my orchestra played! It'll be awesome.

As for the incentive, if I make 4 more Age Group times (states for swimming) I will get to go to AGP Boston. My next meet is this Friday thru Sunday. Wish me luck! :)

My Vacation has started! I get two whole weeks of vacation! The first week will mostly be photo-shoots and other awesome stuff like a Christmas photo-story. But the following week will be a little like my Canada Adventure series which I did in August only this time in a more exotic place:

News!

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I will be posting more this week though!

First things first, (I'm the realest, realest) I will be doing a photo story series that will (hopefully) be more successful than Sarah Sockett. It will be called Time Traveling Taters. I'll let that suspense hang... :)

Second, I am starting a magazine called All Things Doll. I will keep you updated.

Third, I would love it if I could do a Dollympic Games and all your dolls (and mine) could each pick a sport and do it. Comment if interested.

Never Too Old For Dolls/Hug A Doll Day 2014

I have been super busy with school and sports lately. I have had literally no time for AG. But then I come home and see my grandma ready to sew one of my doll clothes designs and realize; AG is my outlet! It's the only down time I really have! I am so lucky to have all of you here to read my not-so-great blog and comment sincere compliments. (I hope I not worrying you that I'm leaving, because I'm totally not!)

Okay, now onto the main thing:

YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD FOR DOLLS!

I am 11 years old and though I got into AG late, I still have the same love for dolls as a 6 year old. I wish more people would not be caught up in their age and feel that they "can't" play with dolls anymore. It is sad to see your friend's dolls lying neglected in their closets. That's why I declare today, November 16 to be Hug A Doll Day.

Green Eyes, Blonde Haired Dollies :)

I love AG's combination of green eyes and blonde hair! Three of my favorite dollies share that combo!

The first is my favorite. My very own Miss Belle Palmer!

She is so cute! Naturally she had to be mine :)

In this image you can see her hazel/green eyes better.

The next one is Lanie. You may think they look like twins but the biggest difference is the hair. Lanie's is extremely curly and she has a side bang. I tried to curl Belle's hair but it failed :) Plus, Belle has no bangs. Another difference is the eyes. Lanie's eyes are more yellowish than Belle's. And, Lanie's face is chubbier than Belle's.

The last is MAG #21. She looks more like Lanie, though her face mold is the same as Belle's and Lanie's.
